Globe-trotting Hong Kong: HK Disneyland

This year, my High School (HS) friends and I tried to deviate from our normal bowling and dinner dates and decided to go beyond our hectic working schedules and financial capabilities. Haha.

I used to call them my Magna Friends. Hep, I know what you're thinking! Nope, we are not the dweeb or mega-nerd  type who really aimed to excel in class, or the competitive pips who tried to collect all the certs and titles the world proposes. The name Magna has been derived from the term, Magna-nine years since we were classmates before in High School (as I said earlier in this post). Though our friendship actually started back in college, we are normal kiddos who happened to study in the same University and decided to do the yearly ritual of meeting up (others call it as reunion) after stressful studies when we were still studying, and heavy workloads and schedules now that we're already tax payers.

Going back to the main page. Yeah. We finally came out of our shell called, Perlas ng Silangan, and headed to more exciting feat. Guess what? We had our three-day date in Hong Kong!

At MTR Jordan Station
(L-R: Joshua the Mechanical Engr., Roemer the CompSci geek and Alv the Civil Engr.)

And our first destination?

*Drum roll*

Hong Kong Disneyland!

When you're planning to travel Hong Kong, this is probably the most visited place to see no matter what age bracket you belong. You see, we're actually about to reach our quarter life years (others actually hit their 25 years of existence) but it did not hindered us from coming to this magical place and brought out our child fantasies. Disneyland 'yan eh.

We started the day with a brunch at a local dim sum restaurant.

Bought our tickets and rode a train to reach our destination.

And how can we ever forget to take pictures with Disney Characters, those fun and exciting rides and the most-awaited fireworks display at night?

With Mickey and Minnie

With Woody at Toy Story Land

This way to more fun rides

With Floating Mickey

At the Mystic Manor

Am not sure about this Disney Character, though

Another jaw-dropping post from the three. Hehe.

Waiting in line for this palpitating ride. Dubdub. Dubdub.

That free-spirited, fun, joyful, humorous and natural self-expressions in our 25-year-old bodies make the Disneyland experience absolutely noteworthy.

Why?

Because everyone has a child in them. It is us as a three-year-old frozen in time.
